Description
Just-black to bright-purple with an invitingly thin and opaque rim edge. White chocolate bullets of piercing aromaticity; some faint and fine rum and raisin oak bouquet falls in behind; the powdery milk and white chocolate so typical of this wine rings - or rather wafts - out, brightly and pertly.. A mouthful and a medley of plush rounded fruits, textural tannins, and task-mastering acidity - each element an extrovert by nature, but each element subdued to ‘the useful and the good’, as the poet said. The wine finishes in a dry manner, with promise and savour and succulence.
